I am a photographer and filmmaker from the beautiful North East of England.

My working style is organic. I like to lay important ground work before I shoot; considering narratives, locations, subjects and timings so that I can be present in the moment; shooting natural scenes as they unfold.

Sometimes that means camping out, laying in a ditch in the mud, swimming in freezing water, driving off the beaten path, getting up before dawn to capture those special moments. The subjects I shoot are often immersive and I love to immerse myself in the work I create.

As a family, we live and breathe the outdoors; adventure, travel, surf, skate, bikes - all of it. I feel this gives me a unique perspective when creating work; knowing who to involve in shoots and which locations, narratives and approaches tell great stories.

Published in surf, motorcycle and adventure publications globally since 2015.
